I've been thinking about how to incorporate Facebook (and/or MySpace) into my site as well. Does anyone in the group have a success story to share? It seems natural to draw on the huge group of users on these sites.
The question is, what is the best way to tie a wiki to Facebook/MySpace? How can one use these sites to draw people to one's wiki (i.e. get them off Facebook and onto my wiki)? Are there any books or web sites out there that are good references? My site (www.vagaboo.com) is designed as a wiki for study abroad country information-- which is aimed directly at the Facebook-cohort of university age students. The challenge is drawing people to the site and forming a community. Thanks. You just enter your Facebook email and Facebook password and you're into your Facebook page inside your pmwiki's Portal. The generic Facebook login page will typically display the login info from cookies stored on each individual's computer, giving it some personalization and security without a lot of overhead on your part.
