I'm a new, happy user of PmWiki (thank you!) with a problem setting up uploads correctly.
Problem Definition When I set up an "Attach:file.ext" to upload a file and go through the process of identifying the file to be uploaded and giving it a name, pushing the "upload" button produces a dialog box wanting to download pmwiki.php. * If I let it download the file and open it, the file is empty. * I cannot get it to upload my test file What I've tried - Turned $EnableUpload off and on - doesn't do anything. - Initially used $UploadPrefixFmt = '/$Group/$Name' instead of $HandleAuth['upload'] = 'edit'; - didn't do any better Relevant Information Initial Server information when turned on uploading. It gave me a path something like "xxxx/yyyy/httpdocs/pmwiki/uploads/uploads/". I talked to the Plesk administrator and he assures me that "/httpdocs/...." is starting from "my" root so I don't quite understand. Unfortunately I didn't save that path information and cannot figure out how to retrieve it. I'd hoped that turning $EnableUpload of and on again might display it, but it didn't. I suspect this of being the problem, but don't know what to do. config.php $EnableUpload = 1; $HandleAuth['upload'] = 'edit'; $UploadDir = "/httpdocs/pmwiki/uploads/"; $UploadUrlFmt = "http://mitchell.lamp.drexel.edu/pmwiki/uploads/"; $UploadMaxSize = 1000000; # limit upload file size to 1 megabyte $ScriptUrl = 'http://mitchell.lamp.drexel.edu/pmwiki/pmwiki.php'; $PubDirUrl = 'http://mitchell.lamp.drexel.edu/pmwiki/pub'; Permissions My uploads directory and subdirectories have permissions set to 777 PHP Info v5.0.4 - I don't understand it - just copied from the phpinfo page Linux 216-110-190-158.ptr.primarydns.com 2.6.9-023stab041.3-enterprise #1 SMP Wed Feb 14 13:36:44 MSK 2007 i686 Server Virtual Server running under Plesk Path to upload directory is as in $UploadDir
