As a follow up, I narrowed down the issue to one file. It seems that somewhere in pmwiki.php the functionality of hiding Category links is dealt with. I'm not exactly sure what code I should be looking for though. I'm guessing that this change happened in a version upgrade, I'm just not sure where to find documentation about this. Anyone have any suggestions?
