in addition, i'd like to know if it is possible yet to embed a quicktime file from an external URL?
i've noticed that some other users have posted the same question in the past, but there are no responses recorded on the mailing list archives. the only bit of advice comes from the quicktime recipe page which recommends adding $QuickTimeExternalResource = 1; to one's config, but that doesn't seem to solve the issue...
