Fireworks exports an html file the code of which you can edit to add
template fields in the spots of your new layout where you want them; i.e.
wiki-replaced comments like
<!--wiki:$Group.PageTopMenu $SiteGroup.PageTopMenu-->
or
<!--markup:(:if enabled FontSizer:)(:fontsizer:)(:if:)-->
and especially
<!--PageText-->
:)

You have to keep an eye on the amount of content that is to go in each spot;
if the space allowed in the design is too small, the page content will break
the carefully pieced together layout. In some instances, you'll want to
replace some slices with a smaller gif image and put it in the cell or layer
background with a css repeat attribute either horizontally or vertically;
that way if the content grows or shrinks, the layout will be preserved as
designed.

Rename that file with a .tmpl extension and place it with any css and images
in a /pub/skins/newname folder, where newname is the name you choose for
your skin.

However, if you want to use the triad skin, that already has a tmpl file.
Compare the triad.tmpl with newname.tmpl and try to use the same css
classes, javascripts, layers and file structure to integrate the new layout
into the triad one.

>From my previous experience, the integration will be really tough (I worked
with the Gemini skin), because it's not easy to get Firefox to generate a
plain layout table: it adds lots of extra cells (and slices) to help control
the layout. If you have Dreamweaver, it may help a bit.
