redirect=<full-url> shoukld work, including url parameters.
perhaps try something like this:
redirect={$ScriptUrl}?n={$?targetgroup}/{$$Name}?action=foxedit&form=PageForm.{$?pagetype}
or construct the url using a var in a hidden input.
