These files were in the archive, but the pages were at some point deleted from PmWikiDe/. Earlier this morning, I repackaged all translation files in brand-new archives, so no old wiki pages should be there. > Besides this, I suggest to delete the groups "Pmwikide" and > "PmwikiDe" (I'm still convinced that page names differing only in > capitalization are evil). Done, today I deleted a huge number of phantom wikigroups (only *.RecentChanges or very old test pages with no backlinks). > another minor question: In the localized groups are pages dealing with > the translation itself, e.g. PmWikiDe/DiskussionUebersetzungen, > /ListeAllerSeiten, /Terminologie, /StandDerUebersetzung (and > /RecentChanges, of course). > > Shall they be part of the i18n archives? I don't yet speak German and most of the other 39 languages, so I couldn't judge if a page should be included or excluded. I can propose that the page DocumentationIndex serves as a wikitrail listing all pages that should be in the doc download archive. If you want a link included in the archive, but not displayed in the DocumentationIndex, use (:if false:) * [[Page]] (:if:) If you want to link to a page to be excluded, best might be to use the full URL with [[(http://pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWikiDe/)SomePage]]. This way we can create a recipe which automatically packs the pages for the documentation. See WikiTrails about the format. Other idea could be to mark somehow the pages to be excluded. Other ideas are welcome. > It would be nice to have a clean SandBox in the distributed archive. Please clean the WikiSandbox placing the default text, and I'll add it to the list to be automatically restored every 15 min like PmWiki.WikiSandbox. > What do you think about a "self service" implementation to enable > users to get fresh archives of certain groups, e.g. the i18n groups > and the PmWiki/ (also subject to updates!) group? > > Or do you intend to make periodical (automated) snapshots? At the moment, I have to manually launch a script that packages all pages, but it is easy, I can do it any time you ask me to. We are considering creating a (public) recipe that could use ?action=zip to send the current state of the documentation directly to the visitor, and/or a password-protected ?action=publishzip to allow a Local Administrator to update the German archive in the pmwiki.org/pub/i18n directory. All these are just ideas floating around, please share yours if you have ideas of improving this.
