It's going to be something like this in your config.php:

  SDVA($ROSPatterns, array(
    '/TIMESTAMP/e'
      => "FmtPageName('\$CurrentTime', \$pagename)"));

Then the students just have to type "TIMESTAMP" wherever they want the
stamp to go...
