Yes - 'edit' still shows all the changes. Deleting a batch fixed it but doesn't explain why. There have been no changes to the php.

It's just the display for that recent changes page that doesn't work - the RSS feed of new changes still works, and if you go to "edit" you can see that the updates are all there.
