I still watch the mailing list, and Petko is very good about checking with me before any "major" changes to the core or discussions relating to overall philosophy. So far I've been extremely pleased with Petko's leadership in PmWiki and I'm truly grateful for his efforts. Over the past year most of my hacking time has been focused on Rakudo Perl 6 (http://perl6.org/ , http://rakudo.org/ ), which I've also been working on for about 5-6 years. We have a major release of Perl 6 coming out this spring, and so I've been working to complete that. Most recently, on March 2nd my wife went into hospital care with a small-bowel obstruction arising from a recurrence of ovarian cancer; all of my time since then has been assisting with her care and taking care of our family. (The short-term and medium-term prognosis for my wife is very good at this point -- we expect her to be discharged from the hospital in the next couple of days.) If things go well, I should be able to refocus more of my energies on PmWiki development in the summer. In the meantime, I'm pleased with the progress and direction Petko is taking, and I'll continue to act in a more "reactive/guidance" role (in response to specific requests) than a "proactive/development" role. Hope this helps, Pm _______________________________________________ pmwiki-users mailing list [email protected] http://www.pmichaud.com/mailman/listinfo/pmwiki-users
