I'd like to ask the community to support (vote<http://pmwiki.org/wiki/PITS/00447>)my suggestion to pick up and complette the work on http://pmwiki.org/wiki/PITS/00447 Distinguish !Page and Category.Page in backlinks
The blocker was the use of bang (!) in expressions. This should be removed by deprecating its use, since the feature only recently added to PmWiki and is unlikely to be used widely if at all in the wild. (As we have recently demonstrated that it is OK to change markup as was done with the deprecation of the longer standing (:if exists [[PageName]] :) markup). cheers Simon
