I would like to put the marks into the normal text (like e.g. you do it
in LaTeX). Somehow like that:

Eagles are large birds of prey which are members of the bird family
Accipitridae(:answer:Question125:), and belong to several genera which
are not necessarily closely related to each other. Most of the more than
60 species occur in Eurasia and Africa. Outside this area, just two
species (the Bald and Golden Eagles) (:answer:Question126:) can be found
in the United States and Canada, nine more in Central and South America,
and three in Australia.

Of course the markup can be different. I don't know if (::) is used for
such purposes.
The pagelist then lists all occurences of (:answer:...:) like this:
Answers:
- Question 125 (with a link to page/anchor1)
- Question 126 (with link to page/anchor2)
...
