I've always used lighttpd, worked like a charm, and if you don't want to
do the configuration yourself you can use WLMP (also comes with MySQL).

But apparently it is questionable that it really works, judging from the
responses of some who tried.
Would you know a way around this conundrum?
I run PmWiki on XP, with no issues, but not under IIS.
For light install I use Abyss web server

For a more comprehensive install I run Apache, and a PHP install.
