I'm wondering if the one user works because of her getting admin level permissions in the config file rather than on the authuser page. In any case, one experiment you might try: install Peter's useradmin recipe: http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/UserAdmin . It is essentially a user interface for modifying the authuser page. Through it you can create a new user, a user group, and add users to user groups. If that works, your problem may be in what you are putting on the authuser page. If that doesn't work, your problem may be in the page permissions. Randy
