The take home message that I got from examining the above site, et al. is keep 
it simple: that it can be a "nightmare" and very expensive if one gets into 
meta scanning and collaborative antivirus programs. Instead use one program, 
such as AVG, and integrate it into PmWiki. The question is, is it doable 
architecturally?
