How is it represented in the SideBar, as link, in a pagelist, or

you could use two PTVs perhaps, like this in your page (example):
(:ta: language-part:)
(:tb: full title text part:)
(:title {$:ta} - {$:tb} :)
and in the SideBar as a link with text:
* [[Group/Pagename| {*$:tb} ]]
