Concerning the utf-8 microchat: This non-essential script was placed in a
protected directory, by mistake:

http://coll-org-source.us/0-one/scripting/password-protect.htm

Don't forget to visit PhpBuddy.com.

Useage is just a simple include; anywhere on the site, but use the path to
home-hermes with a leading slash outside the folder. Inside the folder, no
leading slash for files in same folder, but ./ to files in folders above on the
folder tree.

That's php for you! Good luck.

Hello All,
two observations:
1. If I put the content of an advanced table cell in a new line below
he (:cell:) directive, the following text is wrapped in <p> in the
TML output:
(:table:)
:cell:)
ith <p>
:cell:)without <p>
:tableend:)
Is this suitable / intended?
2. In a cell with more than one paragraph, the first "paragraph" has
o <p> tags if the text is in the same line as the (:cell:) directive:
(:table:)
:cell:)Without <p>
But second paragraph is in <p>
:cell:)...
:tableend:)
IMO that's not clean, both text portions should be <p>.

I have pretty much got all the links, and backlinks fixed.
ll skins now have summaries and use the SkinsHeader
http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Skins/SkinsHeader>include to provide the trail
nd test/set/unset/validate links.
hus the Skins page <http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Skins/Skins> now show all
kins, and the trail now includes all skins.
he skins test page <http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Skins/SkinTests> also
ncludes all pages
When I followed the trail at the weekend all skins pages showed in their
ctual skin.
I've a bit more testing to do, but I feel already that the new Skins group
s working better.

 Simon is working hard to review and fix the pages he can, and tells me
 when my review is needed. We are not in a hurry, as the old pages are still
 operational. I guess for another week or so.

After I execute a page with (added action) ?action=logout the

BUT ?action=login (sending OK with good name and password, becauser of

How to prevent the needed second OK??? Or is this done with WHAT intention?

 think it is a small error, because the first OK -click as done its work!

Help for this:
What do I miss such that the commentbox with captcha does its work without

When I append ?action=login to a page and put in my username and
assword (with authuser) and click on OK I am returned to the page and
action=login no longer appears in the address bar. Perhaps you have
ome other customization causing this?

kay;
Sorry for the delay; I'm definitely not trying to tease you. I just had to
ethink everything ten times to get around the huge holes in the internet caused
y the blackouts that are a result of the superstorm in the Northeast of the
nited States where I am located. Here's the link to my latest statement,
oncerning this critical matter; please mouseover the "Piero, Piero, here me..."
art at the top of the page to read it.
http://coll-org-source.us/0-one/pmwiki.php?n=Category.PageLoadingSpeed
Now, I have not tried to convert the attached code to PmWiki markup; that is
for
omeone versed in that language to do. I thought I might use the "convert to
tml" coding to run it on PmWiki pages, as well; however, that would be like
sking people to eat a cheese-food product, instead of real cheese. Nor, have I
ncluded styling; though, beautiful things can be done, and I will link to an
xample, at the bottom of the page.
There are three files, and a styles folder. The first file is index.php, or
ttp://coll-org-source.us/0--/microchat-utf8/index-php.htm
The second file is message.php, or
http://coll-org-source.us/0--/microchat-utf8/message-php.htm
The third file is msg.html, and this is a blank data file, unless styled. The
ip contains a styled version.
I have also created a chat-clearing file, or
http://coll-org-source.us/0--/microchat-utf8/chat-cleared.htm
ote: This one should really be password-protected; just so you don't
ccidentally call on the file, and lose your chat. It will automatically clear
ny chat; that is, if it is left unlocked and called upon, for any reason.

ou may download the whole shebang, including the style folder (just two little
iles) by clicking here.
http://coll-org-source.us/0--/microchat-utf8/micro-chat-utf8.zip
For the example of the chat styled and modified for a specific purpose, click
on
his link;
http://coll-org-source.us/translator/anglo-am-lit/hamlet_files/concord/index1001.php
Again, huge-and-impossible-to-ever-truly-repay-gratitude-and-thanks to Josiah
at
xford for scripting assistance in the "last act." I was able to narrow
verything down, and even exclude the huge and impossible to know or change
erver settings; but, when it came to actually doing the coding, I was at a
otal loss. Believe it or not, and I'm sure you will, it took me two years to
et to this point with this particular script. You may contact Josiah with your
wn scripting problems through Elance.
If you would like a quick and effective password-protect; just click on this
ink;
http://coll-org-source.us/pfn-2.3.3/accion.php?dir=.%2F0-one%2Fscripts&cal=password-protect.htm&accion=descargar

on't forget to visit the script's site; it's listed at the top of the script.
Take care, and Happy Holidays All;
John

ello, all;
anting to share my joy; especially with Stephanie and Petko, who took the time

his is the result of my successful collaboration with Josiah at Oxford

I'll also take them off the "PmWiki friendly host" page on pmwiki.org,

Would Clean URLs make a difference? I don't remember which method I used
or them. I have another account with the same host that's still fine,
ut doesn't use Clean URLs or farms or subdomains.
this point you might want to just do a quick clean install in a new
