There is a recipe which I'll publish on the cookbook when I find the
time. It can embed various things like videos, maps and PDF files (on
browsers that support this).

Firefox and Chrome display embedded PDFs, Midori (Webkit) doesn't.
Haven't tested other browsers with PDFs.

Apologies - I haven't looked at this in 5 years and at that point it
was to mark it as non-functioning. To be honest I didn't even remember
the name "ViewPDF" as something I had ever looked at.
This recipe is officially deprecated. If anyone wants to take it and
run with it, feel free.
