According to http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/RemoveQuestionMark,
$LinkPageGroupEdit["An"] = FALSE;
should do the job. Practically, it doesn't work to me (recent pmwiki
install and php5x, tested localhost and online).
The page also says, just above that line, that you have to modify
pmwiki.php. (If the $AutoCreate feature is enough, you don't have to
modify pmwiki.php.)
