Wolfgang,
I didnt get this email directly, maybe because you didnt foward back.
In any case, here is my resp:
The URL is in the wiki.d/ files, as I said. I suspect that I have not
set up the [[pagelink]] properly.
So, it is likely some conf issue.
Can you tell me some simple way to fix this, after the fact?
I can always manually edit the wiki.d files (with vi), but I really
hesitate to do that. It could really mess everything up.
It needs a proper reference.
So, is there some simple way to fix this? How do I set up the [[pagelink]].
Jont
PS, I'm getting a digest of postings, so please be sure to "resp to all"
Thanks!

You can do a multifile find/replace with many text editors, but are you
sure the URL is actually in the files? If you're using the standard
[[pagelink]] syntax it should never be.
Do you have a link to the site that's having the problem?

Thanks
But, given that they are defined in the wiki.d files, how do I change them?
The two variables in$PubDirURL and $ScriptUrl are not presently defined.
They are taking the default values.

There should be nothing in the files themselves that stores the
hostname. The most likely culprit is that you have set $ScriptUrl in
your config.php. $ScriptUrl overrides PmWiki's idea of what your
site's URL is; if you have it set you will need to change it. (Also
make sure that $PubDirUrl is correct to prevent the same problem with
your uploads.)

It was necessary that I change the URL (and IP address) of my
wiki. Now all the references seem to point at the old URL.
For example, each of the files in
/www/wiki/wiki.d/
such as
/www/wiki/wiki.d/Main.HomePage
Is there some simple automatic way to change the old URL out, and
replace it with the new URL?
Note: I have recently upgraded versions of PM Wiki to the latest
version.
Thanks in advance,
Jont Allen
