Any recipes that (still) have not been upgraded to avoid the /e modifier are almost undoubtedly then not under active development. I would strongly suggest that you upload your modified code to the relevant recipe page as a new release, simply documenting that the changes in the release are for PHP 5.5 compliance. (You will find that different developers document & package their new releases slightly differently, so you may have to upgrade different recipe pages in a different way...) If you learned things along the way that are not adequately documented at http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/PmWiki/CustomMarkup#php55 then please add to that page appropriately. -Peter
