Thank you! That solved my problem in the most perfect way.

I have a site with quite a lot YouTube-videos on many pages. More then 99% the pages are viewed the videos are show just like they should. But once a while the site-users want to print the pages (the pages contains a lots of text also). And a printed YouTube-video are quite boring... So not I have a "small cookbook" that replaces the video with the QR-code in my print-skin.

I´m way to lazy to create, download and then upload a QR-code for every video...

Is there any reason not to go ahead and download the image and not bother hitting google's servers every page load? Because simply uploading the image to the wiki would also work for your simple example.
