Thanks -- fixed.
It actually does what it is supposed to do -- if there are more than one
PageTextVariables in the page of the same name and the same type, the
later one wins. There was a one Summary: variable near the top, and a
second (:Summary:ssss:) in the page text. The latter took precedence and
had to be broken to
[@(:Summary@][@:sss:)@]
