All life needs to be treated with respect, Our unfortunate fate is that we
have to kill something to live, whether that is plant or animal. But if we
don't consider the respect that all living things have, we end up harming
ourselves, sometimes immeasurably. It doesn't matter if it's a blade of
grass, a spider, or a human being, it deserves respect.
