Knowing the difference between Darwinian social evolution and moral evolution is what we like to say and think is what makes us different from other species, enough so as to be human but it seems that for the most part this may be myth. What does make us different is that we can think about these things enough to question them but do we really have the humanity to change anything? I fear not. Pleasure seems to be the only real component in our evolutionary nature that we really share with the rest of the animal kingdom. All know what pleasure is and it is that sense of pleasure which seems to induce homeostasis (contentment and happiness) in our existence. What we are really mad about is the unequal distribution of that pleasure.
