The fact that FreeBSD uses 'amd64' instead of 'x86_64' had slipped my 
notice completely. Thanks for reporting.

I just pushed a try at supporting 'amd64' to the latest revision in the 
bzr trunk. "No warranty", as I do not have a FreeBSD installation to 
test with right now.

Unfortunately, since the 0.7 release, I cleaned up the 
host/device/target handling in the development tree, so backporting this 
fix (bzr commit 551) is not straight-forward. Could you please try the 
latest bzr version? Meanwhile, I'll install a FreeBSD :)
