Yes. It should use the vector instructions if the LLVM
backend for the target supports them. For Intel SIMD instructions
it should work fairly well.

Well, at least after I make the scalarizer optional in the default
kernel compilation chain (probably I'll commit this today or tomorrow).
I'll let you know.

Whether it can automatically vectorize across work-group's multiple
work-items depends of on the kernel at hand, but the basic capability
for this is also there in pocl.
