Hi All,

Can you please help me in understanding why kurdish locale is not supported
in Babel 1.3/2.0.

This is the issue I had filed days ago but no one has responded yet :(

https://github.com/mitsuhiko/babel/issues/83

This is what I am trying to do:

python setup.py init_catalog -l ku

running init_catalog

error: unknown locale 'ku'

   1. Looks like cldd 23.1 has ku.xml in its cldr folder,
http://unicode.org/Public/cldr/23.1/, If you download core.zip, in
core/common/casing/ku.xml, you will see ku.xml which I guess is the xml
   file for kurdish language.

If this is a bug, could you maybe suggest a workaround to have this working
temporarily.

Awaiting your reply,

Thanks,

Prachi Sakharkar.
