Well - I've certainly done my best to make Pod::Parser do exactly that. To
my knowledge the only reason that Pod-DocBook doesn't use Pod::Parser is
because the author of the former apparently didn't learn of the existence
of the latter (it hasn't been in the core until 5.005_63 or so - before
that you had to think to look on CPAN for something that might do the
trick, and much as I wish everyone did that, we all know better [sigh]).

If anyone knows of some reason other than this for why Pod-DocBook
doesn't use Pod::Parser,  then let me know ASAP and I'll work on making
that reason go away; but at present I'm fairly certain that was not the
reason in this particular case.
