Unto all, fuzzy or smooth, I say: whatever you can do with "=extend" in Pod::Simple, and convince a formatter to agree with (possibly a custom formatter), is pretty much fine by me, regardless of "our" past diktats, bullae, notions, harrumphs, or stony silences.
