What do you mean by that? To perl[1], it looks like a string, not like POD.
What I mean is, Abigail's definition of Pod is unreasonable (imagine that) since a pod processor have to actually parse the whole perl program source to adhere to it. Therefore we fall back to the only other alternative I see, namely the definition of Pod that's in that wee little thing we call perlpodspec, by which it is Pod.
