I understand this is a FAQ but I have not been able to find the
answer: is there a way to include chunks of POD within another POD,
something in the same spirit of a C #include? The idea is to
modularize certain parts of the docs, such as license, standard
args, etc.
I've thought of coming up with a new directive, e.g. #<...>. It
could take the same arguments as L<...>, except that it would inline
the (POD) contents of the link.
Or, getting a bit fancier, we could have two different directives, say
P<...> and Q<...>. Both would take the same arguments as L<...>.
In the case of Q<...> the contents of the link would be inlined verbatim,
whereas only the POD contents of the links in P<...> directives would
be inlined.
But the idea seems too obvious for it not to have been implemented
by now. What am I missing?
Thanks!
