Sounds reasonable to me. On a low traffic list spam becomes seriously irritating. I get a massive amount myself, but (a) most of the ML spam is sneaking past my many layers of filters and (b) it's neatly delivered to a `podofo' mailbox rather than my INBOX, so it forces me to directly have a look. The same is probably true of many others.
