FYI, I was able to work around this on the Suse build server with some 
packaging voodoo, but the good news is podofo built on all arches and distros 
I package it for: RHEL 4/5, Mandriva 2008/2009, CentOS 5, Fedora 9/10 and all 
supported Suse distros.

So the end result is libopodo is versioned 0.6.99 and the tools are 0.7.0
