It seems like the conversion in PdfSimpleEncoding::ConvertToUnicode( ... )
fails. Can you set a breakpoint there and see what goes wrong?
Does it get into ConvertToUnicode() where does it exit?
Is PODOFO_IS_LITTLE_ENDIAN defined? And you should also make sure that
PODOFO_IS_BIG_ENDIAN is undefined?
