Features from versions up to 1.7. In particular, PDF 1.5 object streams
are supported.

PoDoFo doesn't do much at all with content streams, which is where most
of the interesting things in PDF happen.

PoDoFo's support is more solid around PDF 1.3 / 1.4 / 1.5 . It's
possible to work with and use more advanced PDF features directly by
using the simple PDF data types like PDFDictionary, PdfObject, PdfStream
etc that PoDoFo provides. You'll need to understand the PDF spec well,
though.

Sort of.

All PDFs should be opened, parsed, and written out. You should be able
to manipulate their structure. What you want to do with it, though, is
up to you - PoDoFo doesn't try to *understand* much about PDF.
