Hello,
First I'd like to thank you all for your work.
I'm looking for a way to extract the images in a pdf to an IStream object,
for processing with the Windows Imaging Component library. (C++ WTL project
with VS10)
I have been starting with this today and I must say that I don't know
anything about the pdf format, and if I could achieve my goal without
learning anything about it, well... it would'nt make me sad :).
So It seems Podofo is the best way to get there. The tool podofoimgextract
looks like it could be used as a starting point, I successfully built podofo
0.8.4 as a shared library with freetype 2.4.3 (seems to be required. Is
there a way to not include it?), libjpeg 8b and zlib 1.2.5
But when I try podofoimgextract it fails systematically with the following
output. Of course I tried with different files from different sources, all
displaying allright with adobe reader.
cmd > podofoimgextract.exe "test.pdf" "test"
outputs <
