See also here: http://sourceforge.net/apps/mantisbt/podofo/view.php?id=28 I filed this bug over a year ago, and there has been no response since, so there doesn't seem to be much interest in making this program functional. I'm working on a much better PDF imposition program, based on the PoDoFo library, and using Ruby, rather than Lua, as its layout specification language. It will allow the insertion of specific PDF operators into the output page description. This makes possible any arbitrary geometric transformation of the input pages (rotations, shears, differential scaling, etc.) It also means that any desired typographic symbols, such as registration marks and colour bars, can be programmed directly in the layout specification, without having to be imported from a pre-existing PDF file. All of the above is currently functional; I'm now working on automatically computing how a binding signature should be laid out on the printer sheet, according to the specified folding sequence. -- Ian Bruce ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
