No, it is not.
I am not aware of ANY open source library that can perform subset merging. In
fact, the only product that does subset merging is Adobe's PDFLibrary.
There are some libraries, such as iText, that can avoid duplication of fully
embedded fonts, but not subsets.

Hi
We need to merge few thousand small PDF-s into one big PDF on regular basis.
Each source PDF has 3 TTF subsets embedded. After merging I see:
$ grep "/FontName /" ABC.pdf | cut -f2 -d+ | sort | uniq -c
5936 ArialBold
5936 TimesNewRoman
5936 TimesNewRomanBold
It looks like most of my ~500MB PDF is ~18k copies of font subsets. Is it
possible to merge subsets of the same font with libpodofo?
