Stop thinking in dpi.

Thanks for clarifying about the base dpi.

I still wonder, what if I need 600 dpi for A4 and when I convert them to points 
don't they surpass the max points (based on 72dpi)?

Yes, when drawing onto a PDF using PoDoFo's PdfPainter you specify all
coordinates using double values which can scale to any DPI value (as
usual with vector graphics). The base dpi is 72.
