DeviceGray is just one of the 11 colorspaces in PDF. However, if I have an
object in DeviceRGB where R==G==B, do you also consider that "grayscale"??
What about DeviceCMYK with a value only in the K channel? Etc. etc. etc.
PDF doesn't have a clear definition of "monochrome/grayscale" - you have to
define it yourself, for each of the 11 colorspaces.

Hi Leonard,
Thanks for your help/support.
Please find my requirement below:
Given a PDF document, I want to get B/W pages separately and Color Pages
separately.
A B/W page mean a PDF page in which all the objects use “Mono Chrome/Gray
Scale” Color Space.
Any page that has objects which uses Color space other than “Mono Chrome/Gray
Scale” color spaces is considered to be a color page.
Thanks & Rgds

PoDoFo can help you with #1, but not with #2.
However, your #3 request shows a HUGE misunderstanding of PDF and color. As
the content on each page is a collection of individual objects (text, vector
and raster), EACH OBJECT can be represented in ANY of the 11(!!) different
colorspaces available in PDF. Perhaps if you gave us a HIGHER LEVEL
description of the purpose of #3, we could help.

Subject: [Podofo-users] PDF Page Functionalities
Hi,
I require the following functionalities with respect to PDF Operations:
1) Splitting a Page into multiple pages – I need to split some pages from
one PDF and form a new PDF with those pages.
2) Exporting Page as Image - I have a requirement to export a PDF page as
an image file say GIF/JPEG.
3) Identification Of Page Color –How to identify the color palette of a
PDF Page. If I get the page exported as image, I can find that by reading
PIXEL by PIXEL. Please share if there are direct methods available in library
which would be better in performance.
Thanks to everyone in advance for the support to my queries.
Thanks & Rgds
