I think you have been given a requirement that doesn’t really make sense.
First, a PDF doesn’t have a single color. Each object on each page of the document can be any one of eleven (yes, 11!) different ways that color can be represented inside of a PDF. So what does it mean to “detect the color” in such an environment? Second, the bleed and trim boxes are just that – boxes. An array of four values that represents the four corners of a box/rectangle. It has not color, size, etc. You can easily get the values of the boxes from PoDoFo, but not sure what that will do for you. If you can get clearer requirements, we will be happy to help you.
