I have made an initial release of POE::Component::Jabber (for those of you not familier with POE see http://poe.perl.org/). Its still at early stages, but I've made it available for a bit of peer review and because I wanted to get it out this side of christmas since I won't be around much now till new year.
I'd welcome any comments on the design. I hope to extend it with alot more classes to deal with higher level functions much as the P:C:J:Auth module does now. If anyone wants to help out they should just dive in. Thanks go to Dennis Taylor whos POE::Component::IRC this is almost totally based on, also to DJ Adams for Jabber::Connection from which I hacked the authentication and use of XML::Parser (I'm sure theres some orginial code in somewhere). The documentation sucks cause I don't have much time. Look at how P:C:IRC works if you've not seen that before and perldoc POE::Component::Jabber is the best I can do for now. Grab it while its fresh from ftp://ftp.morat.net/poe/POE-Component-Jabber-0.1.tar.gz -Mark -- Mark Cheverton aka [MORAT]Ennui http://morat.net/ Morat Games ICQ: 42123856 --+++ Less Lag More Frag +++--
