hi! ok I solved the problem myself but perhaps someone here is interested in reading the solution:
"Couldn't connect to server: connect error 111: Connection refused" This means TCP/IP connection establishment fails cause of RST and ACK flag is set in the first answer packet from the irc server. I dunno why the server behaves that way, but I solved it by replacing the IP by it's DNS alias. Greets Christian Wilmes
