I have a problem with my IRC bot. Everytime it loses connection to the IRC server due to a router breakdown, the irc_disconnected event is not triggered. How can it recognize a connection lost during runtime?
I tried to implement a periodically connection-check by setting up an alarm with "delay_set"-function. This selfmade event is also not longer triggered after the internet connection went down. Thanks for suggestions. Christian Wilmes
