The other person is correct that 5.6.1.638 is the latest version for ActivePerl 5.6. While I have not yet upgraded POE to the latest version, I am currently running ActivePerl 5.6 build 635 on all my production servers and will not be switching to 5.8 in the near future. Just my 0.02.
