I am curious why you should not use POE as a webserver?
With pure dynamic perl content, we have seen poe outperform apache 
using the pure Filter only.

Maybe I wasn't clear, but I'm planning on converting my
CGIs to internal handlers. The http server will end up
making function calls, not executing CGIs.
