Hi folks, Is there a preferred way to upgrade POE on a system ? I have version 0.3301 installed and would like to upgrade to the latest. Should I just do a 'perl Makefile, make, make install' with the newest version ? I do not have direct access to the CPAN from that system so I have to use the archive (perhaps there's another way, but using the archive is straightforward and does not take time).
Also, where should the 'make test' then be ? After or before the 'make install' ? Thanks ! Al
