I'm not sure about this one because in Excel this is no distinction between numerics and dates. Try this. Type some dates into a sheet then format them as numbers. Now type some numbers and format them as dates. Notice the only difference is the formatting. To create a date cell type I would have to fake it by looking at the styling of the record. I'm not really sure this is a good idea. Andy?
