What's the speed like?  It it possible to do the opposite?  ie, boot linux
in windows?

No need for dual-boot. I use VMware on my Linux machine. This
is a virtual PC which I use now and then to boot Windows 95.
This is a really nice thing, except that it is not free. (And
except for the beast I run inside it.)
